She said time runs fast like the sun burns hot.
Boy, she wasn't kidding.
Today is my 37th birthday.
The past ten years went by in the blink of an eye.
Just a moment ago I was 27 and I was lost.
I didn't know what to do, but I knew I wanted to do something.
I'd be in the supermarket every day buying my steak, looking around at the lifeless people and thinking to myself, “I've got to get out of here”.
Every day I was searching for the way out.
I read everything I could get my hands on.
And in my relentless search, I found what I was looking for.
I read a book that changed my life because it opened my eyes to possibility.
The book was called The 4 Hour Work Week.
In it, a great secret was revealed to me.
The secret was this…
You can travel the world and make money online.
It's a simple secret that all B&D; readers know by now, because I've explained it to you many times.
But back then?
Boy, back then I didn't know shit about shit.
I knew I wanted to travel the world, and I knew I couldn't do it without income.
That was my dilemma.
Then I found in a book at a used bookstore that changed my life forever.
To me, finding that book was like a burning man finding water.
Inside the pages was a secret so simple it should never have been a secret.
People always want to know about big secrets and huge strategies and great big plans.
I dont.
I don't give a damn about big secrets and big strategies and even bigger plans.
Why not?
Because I know a better secret…
The big secrets don't do nothing for you.
It's the small secrets that make all the difference.
The small secrets are the ones that change your life.
So I'm going to give you my 37 small secrets that lead you to big happiness…
1) Don't worry about happiness
I get so many of these people telling me that “money doesn't buy happiness”.
Those people are missing the point and don't understand the necessity of money.
Of course you cannot buy happiness because happiness is an emotion, not a product on the shelves at the local market.
Happiness is a by-product of a life well lived.
It comes from having some sort of business or profession that you enjoy, having some sort of space in the world that you can call home, having some friends and family around you, and having the FREEDOM to enjoy all of it.
The same people who say money doesn't buy happiness are the same people who TRADE THEIR TIME for money and then complain about how much they “hate their job”.
They trade their most precious resource, their time, for a resource that doesn't even buy happiness.
How's that for comedy?
Here's an even better joke…
I never trade my time for money. I do whatever I want to do, whenever I want to do it.
I haven't worked a job in over a decade and I will never work a job again in my life.
Am I some sort of super genius?
Don't make me laugh.
I'm just the man who is willing to do what it takes.
And willing to do what it takes is surprisingly easy.
Over and over I have to laugh at the people who tell me what I do is too hard for them to do.
Their lives are hard, mine is easy. They just refuse to even try.
The people who refuse to try and make money are the people who waste their entire lives working slave jobs and telling me “money doesn't buy happiness”.
No, but it buys you freedom from having a job.
And guess what the #1 barrier to happiness is?
Your job.
2) Quit your job
Everyone I talk to who isn't an entrepreneur or an artist or something similar tells me relentlessly that they hate working their job.
Do you know why you hate working a job?
It's because working a job is for slaves.
You've been fooled into thinking you need to work a job to survive in this world.
Here's the reality: you don't.
Here's another hard reality: You make more money when you go out on your own.
“But it's so hard to just walk away!”
Actually, it's just simple.
- If you love your job, stay.
- If you hate your job, quit.
That's it.
It is all your decision, it has always been your decision.
3) Drop out of university
Here's yet another heard reality: You make more money if you are a college dropout than if you have a college degree.
Here's even another hard reality: The people with college degrees are the most gullible slaves that exist.
Here's another hard reality…
Time runs fast like the sun burns hot.
Your time is running out quickly.
Why waste it spending time in school, as an adult, becoming indoctrinated and indebted?
You have to make the best of your own life and when you're a good college kiddo you give away control of your life to the corporations.
Don't be a dummy. Even blue collar workers today make more than many white-collar college graduates.
They want you in university so that you become a great debt slave and a good little worker-bee.
I am the king bee, I am not a worker-bee because my mind is free.
One way I keep my freedom is by keeping my expenses low.
4) Live in a small house
I've lived in mansions and I've lived in shoe boxes.
Guess what?
When it comes to happiness, shoe boxes beat mansions.
I know we all close our eyes and dream of mansions and fast cars, but they don't give you what you think they will.
When I think back on the happiest places I've lived, they were small and cheap.
I had a tiny little apartment in the barrio in North Texas and I absolutely loved it there. I paid $444 per month in rent and all of my neighbors were Mexicans.
I also had a 45 sqm apartment in Bangkok. I paid $500 per month in rent and I absolutely loved it there. I stayed over two years.
If you want to recipe for a happy house, here it is: Small and cheap.
The more you pay, the less satisfaction you get.
The richer the area, the worse your happiness is. Affluence instantly makes people depressed.
“But I need a big house for my family!”
Big houses do nothing but drive distance between family members.
A small house is a happier house.
This doesn't mean don't make money, it means don't spend your money on affluence.
In this regard, money does not buy happiness, it buys isolation.
Living in a small, cheap house is the best.
5) Eat simple food (organic, local farm raised)
Did you ever notice that when fat people eat normal food like rice, cottage cheese or lightly-seasoned beef they say, “It has no taste!”
That's because fat people get fat by eating fake foods made by chemistry in a laboratory.
They get used to eating chemicals that give them many sensations of taste.
The result?
Their own taste buds become desensitized and they can no longer enjoy natural food.
It is best to just eat natural food.
Today we call natural food “organic”.
But we call food covered in pesticides, food injected with hormones, food created in a laboratory with genetic modification, or junk food created by chemistry - we call this “normal” food.
Don't make me laugh.
Real food is not sprayed with chemical pesticides and it doesn't come from genetically modified seeds.
Real food is walking around the farmland eating grass or it is grown in the ground and not sprayed with poison (pesticide).
If the pesticides kill the pests on your apples, what do you think it's doing to your insides? Nothing good.
Eat as naturally as you can and your mind will be sharp and your body will be in shape.
Eat as simple as you can because the more complex the ingredients list, the harder the food is to digest.
The better your digestion is, the better your health is.
Simple natural food leads to good digestion.
6) Drink spring water or well water, not toilet water
It's the simple things that make a big difference.
Like your water, for example.
In America we've been drinking recycled and chemically treated toilet water all our lives.
Guess what's missing from this recycled toilet water?
Vital minerals.
The best water comes from the breast of mother earth, we call this “well water”, which means it comes from a well in the ground.
You can also get good water from springs.
The worst water is local city water or bottled water.
It's loaded with chemicals and hormones and it isn't good for your health.
Natural water is the best water.
7) Believe your own eyes
Here is a big problem I see with people…
They cannot see anything.
They are blinded to what is right in front of their own face.
Their eyes don't work.
They see one thing with their own eyes, then they watch the television news which says a different thing.
Wha do they believe?
They believe the news and they think their own eyes are liars.
When I'm visiting the State, I watch airplanes spray chemicals into the sky.
I point this out to my fellow Americans.
What do they say?
“No, those plans aren't spraying anything. It's natural condensation.”
I already told you, don't make me laugh.
I've been in over 20 countries, this “natural condensation” that looks exactly like airplanes spraying stuff into the sky only happens in one country I've ever been to.
So why can I see it and they cannot?
They think their own eyes are liars.
Big mistake to not trust your own eyes.
When you don't trust your own eyes, outsiders can easily trick you.
The tricksters are always two steps ahead of the dumb people, walking them with an invisible leash.
8) Think 2 steps ahead
Regular people cannot see even one or two steps ahead.
I'll give you an example…
People will see ants on their peaches on the peach tree, then they will spray the tree with chemical poison to kill the ants.
Then they eat the food they sprayed with poison.
Over time they poison themselves with low amounts of pesticide eaten every single day.
If the poison kills the pests on the fruits and vegetables, what do you think it's slowly doing to you?
How damn dumb can someone be?
Poison does not just affect ants and leave humans alone.
Poison poisons everything.
If you poison the pests you will end up poisoning yourself.
But if you just think one or two steps ahead you can stop most health problems before they start (just don't eat poison).
9) Take control of your own health
Listen here friend, doctors are here to help themselves.
What's the #1 way you can help yourself?
By making money.
How do doctors make money?
By working on sick people.
Healthy people are of no use to doctors.
So do the doctors have an interest in making you well or keeping you ill?
If you had eyes that could see, you could see that health comes from the simple things like eating real food, having freedom, and ignoring the “advice” of the local doctor so-and-so.
10) Spend time outdoors
Listen, I'm happy enough to spend some days farting around on the internet and getting nothing done.
I'm happy enough to spend some days working hard all day long on the internet to make my money and earn my freedom.
But I'm not happy enough if I don't get time outdoors.
Know why?
We are natural creatures on planet earth and we need what mother earth gives us.
Namely, sunshine and dirt.
Sunshine makes vitamin D and dirt keeps us grounded.
It's good to get out in the sun every day and at least every week or every month.
Find the time to get out to nature to do some hiking or fishing or just go to a local city park and take your shoes off (just watch out for the needles discarded by the local bums).
Fresh air does you good and makes you happier.
11) Don't worry, be happy
You want to know what the real killer in this world is?
It's worry.
Worry will kill you before it's time to die.
And for what?
For nothing at all.
Worry is completely imaginary.
“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?” -Luke 12:25
“None of you.” -Victor 7:13
Worry exists only in your mind, but it causes stress to your physical body.
Stress has to eat something. Stress eats minerals like magnesium and it can cause a deficiency which will result in real physical problems if you continue to worry about imaginary things.
Worry can actually kill you.
It can be hard to let go until you realize that what you worry about usually never happens.
When the Buddha said it's all in your mind, he wasn't lying.
You create the worry so guess what else you create?
Your happiness mindset.
So just create it.
Don't worry, man, be happy.
12) Listen to your intuition, because it's God talking to you
Right here I'm going to hide the best piece of advice I could ever give you…
Never take advice from anyone else without first consulting your own intuition.
If someone's advice goes against your own intuition then you must think long and hard before accepting this advice.
The best advice will always come from your own intuition.
ALWAYS.
I hate to get frou-frou and woo-woo, but intuition is God talking to you.
If you don't want to call it God - and I don't blame you because I'm not talking about the Jehovah/Yahweh God of the bible - call it The Spirit of the Universe, call it The Source of All Things, call it Mom of the Earth, call it Father, call it Odin, call it Jesus, call it Buddha, call it the Tao, call it the name that cannot be named.
Doesn't matter what you call it, it just matters that you listen to the call.
Your intuition is your life plan.
It always works for you and never works against you.
Ignore it at your own peril.
But people are so damn dumb today they ignore their own intuition and they do things that actively harm them.
Too bad for them, but good for you because now you know.
You always have the best solution, all you have to do is consult yourself in a quiet place.
How do you learn to consult your own intuition?
It's easy.
Ask and ye shall receive.
In your mind, just ask to be shown the right way.
Then, and this is the most important part, PAY ATTENTION.
Use your own eyes to see what is happening.
Nothing will ever be quite as clear as you want it to be.
You will have to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
When you are able to consult your own intuition, the desire to seek authority outside of yourself will vanish.
13) Be thankful
When you consult your own intuition, which is the spirit of all things, always be thankful.
You can be arrogant all you like in the real world, you should never go to the Father and the Mother of all things with arrogance or entitlement.
Thank the Father for all things you are thankful, and then ask to be shown the right way.
Don't demand, ask for a way to be shown to you.
If you want a million dollars, don't say “I demand you give me a million dollars!”
Instead…
Dear father, thank you for all the great things you've given to me. I ask that you show me the way to make enough money that I can enjoy freedom in this life.”
Then listen to the answer and follow it faithfully.
14) Listen to the plan
God/Spirit/Source has a plan for you.
It is cliche to say, but cliches are usually true.
As a young man I would have laughed this off and told you why you were wrong.
As a mature man of 37 I know that I don't know anything in this world, and everything was given to me by the spirit of the creator.
All I got, I got because I listened to my own intuition.
I'm happy to toot my own horn, but intuition isn't my own inner genius, it's just the ability to listen to what I already know is true.
In fact, we are all born in the spirit of truth.
Watch little children.
What do they always do?
They always smile and they never stress (unless they have to do chores AKA work).
The more we listen to politicians, teachers, preachers and other “authority” the more we learn to lie to ourselves and the more miserable we become.
Everybody has the innate ability to create their own happiness. Children are proof.
All you have to do is listen to your own intuition and never listen to the liars.
That's all I ever did, I listened to the inner voice, I was deaf to the naysayers, and I followed the plan no matter what.
When things got scary, I didn't care.
15) Have no fear
They say fear is the mind killer.
Fear is what prevents people from listening to their own intuition and making their own mark in this world.
When you go to an office you will see a group of people who live in fear.
Fear of listening to their own intuition, and fear of failure most of all.
The fear of failure is something I just don't understand.
To me, failure is working a job.
Working a job is trading your time for money. In a different time that was called slavery or servitude. We've just given it a different name.
So I don't understand the people who have already failed who have an imaginary fear of failure about the future.
What is failure anyway?
It's never trying.
If you just try and follow the plan, failure is not an option.
Trust the plan, stick to the plan, and you will never fail.
Deviate from the plan, never listen to your intuition, and you are already a failure.
Many people are afraid if they don't have a house and a car by a certain age they are a failure.
Don't make me laugh.
I didn't own a car for nearly 10 years, even though I could have bought a Ferrari if I wanted to.
What Average Allen is actually afraid of is not living up to the standards of the rest of the slaves (AKA making the neighbors jealous).
But the neighbors don't care about you, and the Mom of the Earth loves you.
Sometimes her love is tough love.
You will have to deal with it.
Nobody learns through kindness, we learn through hardship, and the lessons of nature can be harsh.
You'll get what you ask for, but you will never get what you ask for in the way you imagined it.
Stick to the plan, don't worry, and don't be afraid.
As long as you're doing what you're supposed to, you'll get to where you need to go.
16) Be of service to others (while serving yourself)
The #1 barrier to success is selfishness.
Selfishness is actually self-sabotage.
The would-be entrepreneurs want the Ferraris and mansions and in their desire to have these things, they miss what actually affords these things in the first place.
There is only one way to legitimately make money.
It's to be of service to others.
People will not pay for something that does not help them in some way.
The only other way to make money is by theft, which I don't recommend.
I do recommend you be of service to others.
Do you know how many emails I've received saying “Thank you Victor! You helped me so much!”
I get emails like that every single day. I get so many I can't even respond to them.
This is the only reason I have my degree of freedom.
“But Victor! You already said you have to be selfish to succeed!”
You do.
I'm selfish in my selflessness.
I'm selfish in my desire to help others.
I'm not here to be your friend.
I'm here to kick your face in the dirt with my US sized 13 boot and wake you up to reality.
To help others you have to give them tough love.
You can't be a spineless weakling and expect to be of service to others.
Allowing people to walk on you does not help them or you.
You have to be a tough and determined son-of-a-gun to be of service to others.
And you have to selfishly stick to that desire to be of service to others.
Quick tip…
You cannot ask people how to be of service to them, they don't know anything until it slaps them in the face.
If the only way to help them is to slap them, then slap them.
17) Never listen to the naysayers
When you put a bunch of crabs in a bucket, they will try to climb out to freedom.
But the crabs in the bottom of the bucket panic, and in their desire to get out of the bucket they pull down the crabs climbing out of the bucket.
All of the crabs want out of the bucket so badly they cannot think of the best way to get out. They panic, and they pull every crab back down into hell with them.
People do the same thing.
But people use words to pull you down.
They're afraid, they want out, but they panic and they use hurtful words to pull you back down into the bucket with them because they don't want to be lonely in hell.
Thankfully you are not a crab. All you have to do is ignore the naysayers.
If you don't ignore them, it's back down into hell you go.
From that pit, not many escape.
But…
If you ignore them…
If you follow the plan…
If you listen to the inner voice and ignore the naysayers…
It is upwards to heaven you will go.
Their hands will be pulling at your feet as you ascend…
Just be strong and kick those damn hands away.
HEEEEE-YAAAAAA!
This is the only way.
This the end of part 1.
We will finish our discussion in part 2 of Thirty Seven Steps to Heaven.
I'll be back to kick some more dirt in your face after I go do some fishing in the mountains.
You can't let these summer opportunities with family pass you by.
Don't forget, time runs fast like the sun burns hot.
Ten years will pass by in the blink of an eye.
In the end, memories are all you will have.
Take the time to build them.
If you don't do it right now, well, you can't be sure you ever will.
Until next time.
Your man,
-Victor Pride

Fucking awesome read man.!!
So true…
One of your best articles lately, quite the truth bomb.
Well said and honest.
I struggle to listen to voice daily, and when I dont I always feel the consquences.
I need to stop the fear and have more faith in myself, well, the guidance within myself.
Thanks for the reminder.
I know I need to quit my job (as ive been told many times by both you and the creator) but I am AFRAID that by giving up the income from the job i was guided to, I will fail in my attempts or run broke before I succeed.
The creator guided me to buying a farm with mo ey from the job. I did.
Ive now been told to be a landlord. To rent space on my land to the slaves and work to create a community so that I may buy my freedom. Is that selfish? Maybe..but it is the recurring path that I end back at. The echoing answer.
I need 100% of my time to do this.
But, I need money to do it as well.
Waiting for the answers to present themselves as they always do.
Just some rambles..enjoy your fishing.
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday!
Usually when average people mention that money doesn’t buy happiness, they are saying that as a self defense mechanism to try to make themselves feel good about it when in reality… and deep down inside, they know that being richer is a lot better than being poor. It’s them lying to themselves…. Emotions can be generated by humans all the time and it’s endless… focusing on what emotions can do is a waste of time and energy…. Don’t try to find happiness as your goal since that won’t last forever… and if you really want to accept happiness, you must accept sadness as well (vice versa) and understand and accept the concept of duality because it exists everywhere you go…
Also I like to further mention that when someone is trying to make it to greatness, don’t try to explain what you do to average people … majority of the time 9 out of 10, they will try to sabotage your progress, tell you to “relax, slow down”, or other ways to discourage you (either because they do “care” about you but are ignorant or they really want to see you fail) regardless, don’t apologize for anything and don’t stop to explain anything to anybody…
Also people will never change so don’t try to change them even if you are trying to uplift anyone… they will change when they WANT to change… when they see that you have changed to become the better version of yourself, perhaps… they will one day (gradually) see that and get some sort of inspiration to see any change in themselves but before any of that, don’t go out of your way to try to help regular people becoming the better version of themselves because if they want your help, they will come and find it and if they want change, they will get it because they WANTED it…
Since I did mention duality earlier, big importance for people out there is … if you want to make it in the “real world” and succeed (based on what you define success as in your personal thought)…. you must also be willing to embrace failure…. you can’t have success without going through failure first…. A lot of people have unnecessary fear of failure and that itself is what is causing them to be in this hamster wheel… Your own mind is blocking you from success and you have no one to blame but yourself. But no need to wallow in pity, anger and frustration because with simple mind change, anyone can rise out of poverty and make it….
If you only want to focus on positivity because you like to have positive feelings then you have think your approach differently… you must accept BOTH positivity AND negativity but you must be willing to know how to channel that in good way…. since energy cannot be created or destroyed… you must learn to channel it in different forms… we all feel sad, happy, angry, etc… but all these emotions that come into you… you must learn to adapt to each of it and master your own mind. A lot of things are outside of our control… No need to be stoic and repress your emotions because it’s not natural… it only works short term… you must learn to transform bad feelings and use that to better yourself…
Even though there are a lot of messed up things that happen in this world, the world is also beautiful place and not everyone it out to get you…. learn to be both good AND bad person… and use that to your advantage. Don’t focus too much on morality and don’t put anyone in pedestal and worship them (man or woman) …
Learn to kill your own ego…. your ego come back and bites you hard…. your own ego makes you stop and give the need to argue and explain yourself to doubters… and the need to try to correct them and feel good about yourself… Learn to KILL YOUR OWN EGO…. it’s hard as a human being because we want to feel good about ourselves but in the long term, …. this is why you must associate with like minded people with strong and winning mindset…. but those are rare breed and you will feel “lonely” at times but EMBRACE IT because that’s a Man’s path… Man’s path is laid with hardship and can be lonely but rewarding at the end… when you go through tough times… don’t pick up bottle of booze, instead it channel that frustration through bodybuilding, wood turning, other forms of art, or even cleaning your own room….
At many times (even at all times) no one will be there for you… It’s all on your own and you must adapt and embrace it.
I know you answered this before. But your opinions change. How do I find a woman in the west who isn’t a whore with her PhD in whoredom.
Thanks
“But your opinions change.”
elaborate.
Anthony,
You have better luck finding a diamond in a sewer…
That would be very hard because majority of the girls today are pretty much all the same …
but when you do gauge a girl… there are some things you wan to know…
Are you looking to settle down? or want long term relationship? or quick short term fling? those things depend…
Does she have iPhone/smart phone, college degree, want career, social media account online?… what about her friends? … do they look like party type girls? careful as appearance may be deceiving…
Does she drink alcohol? smoke? Is she out of shape?
what does her family look like? Does she have daddy issue? Does she treat her parents with respect? What does her mom look like?
Does she have tattoos? piercing? anywhere on her body?
Use your intuition….
You don’t want her to be the popular girl to the point where the whole town knows… but you also don’t want her to be some weirdo with social skill issues. …
overall if there is one thing you want to look for a girl right away…. does she smile at you? like genuine smile… or does she look grumpy all the time like she wants to fight you?
The author of this blog wrote very good articles and you might want to check them out below… should answer your question.

TS, I’ve been reading your comments for years…dude start a blog. You’d have an audience in a month or two.
I don’t think you can kill your ego. You can control it and observe it instead of acting on it. It will always be there.
I also think the focus on finding a good girl is tradcon fantasy made for men unsuccesful with women. It is the blue pill idealism repackaged in a “save muh civilisation” type of scenario.
Men need to focus on becoming good in socialising, presenting themselves and learning some game here and there. Will you find your dream princess? No because she does not exist.
Just know that women have always been whores from medium to extreme. Modern lifestyle enables women. That is all.
Modern lifestyle enables women being whores - and even being whores out in the open. While in the past women were whores in private and covertly.
I am from The Netherlands and in WWII Dutch women were sleeping with German soldiers en masse from the age of 14+. It is nothing new.
You cannot trust women. They are not your soulmate. You will never find a wife that will be your companion. Wake up. If you don’t wake up, don’t be sad when the fantasy comes crashing down.
Live for yourself. Go after your mission. If you don’t have kids that is also fine. You are not responsible for saving civilization. If civilization is doomed so be it. If you do find a woman or multiple that you like enough then give them a kid.
I think people need to stop fooling themselves. That is what this is. Fantasyland!
People all want something from you. People you don’t even know. They try to shame you into doing stuff you don’t want to do. I say fuck them.
Family life is for the women. Women love taking care of children. So give them a few children and keep going after your purpose. When the children are old enough teach them what you know.
Instead of wanting children to make you happy. Wanting a perfect trad “waifu” to make you happy. That is astrology for men.
Thanks for the appreciation Marcus. I have A LOT to say but as of now, blog is not my top priority as I’m focused on other ventures. When it’s the ‘right’ time for me, I will make a blog for sure but it won’t be advertised blog. It will be more like “My journal and collection of my own thoughts from observation and experience” and whoever can read it, benefit it from it may do so….
James, it’s all good solid advice you have there. Killing ego cannot work in the long run …. You do have a point there.
but it can work for that moment (short term) but eventually ego cannot be completely destroyed just as energy cannot be created nor destroyed.
A man has to learn to transfer that into something positive. Use the ego in the “right” way. Also yes people do try to find an edge over you, use some angle and measure you by what they can take from you…
As long as their intentions are honest and upfront and additionally, the relationship is symbiosis then it will work…
instead of putting fake smiles, trying to woo someone, mesmerize and use cunning tricks, the person can say…
“hey I’m thinking about using you and I want ‘this and that’ from you…” in return I can give you this and that… what do you think? ”
honest upfront business style relationship can work better but also use tact and class as well since the point of “potential” friendship should be natural not trying to keep scores, tally marks or up on each other.
Happy birthday Vic!

Good to see you back Vic.
Don’t worry be happy.
This is something I am slowly starting to learn this.
Worries are like the trees that eat the wood of the tree. The more you worry the more of you get’s eaten away.
Wonderful that you connect this to minerals such as magnesium. I can see this and I believe this is true. Magnesium is used up quicker when the body and mind are stressed.
And Happy Birthday man
37 Is a special number.
3- Holy trinity
7 - Luck
3+7=10 = return to unity, completeness.

Thank you for another great article!
Excellent article, like always.
Happy Birthday Uncle Vic.
I’ve been getting in the habit of consulting by intuition. Because of it I knew when to quit my job and focus on business. I knew when to walk away to avoid a robbery. I knew whether or not to trust somebody.
It was the right decision every time. I’m way happier for it.
I’ve thought of intuition as “the world talking to you” and wanting to unravel itself through you.
I also like to think that our intuition has evolved over time. That it’s developed through our ancestors and now they’ve left it with us. This intuition is the way our ancestors speak to us.
(Recent deaths in the family made me think of this. Mixing the spiritual and biological.)
Looking forward to Part 2.
Great post! Really enjoyed it.
Best yet……..
Great words! I live by the rule that kindness, money and alike should flow like a steam. If you block it, the water becomes stagnant, stale and undrinkable.
Happy birthday and enjoy the fishing!
Excellent article. Lots of wisdom here if people will let it sink in. Thanks
Happy birthday, Victor!
Respect from Spain.
Happy birthday brother!
“There is only one way to legitimately make money.
It’s to be of service to others.”
Powerful. And it sounds more satisfying and truthful than ‘provide value to the marketplace’ for some reason. Same thing but one is divine and the other is open to snakes moving in wolves clothes.
It appears our man always did so, but is only now realizing the gift he brings to fellow warriors. Everyone needs reminding, it is not only the personal journey, but how many you can inspire to the journey.
Happy Birthday Vic!
Yes, time passes by really fast in modern life. I recently visited my brother and his family and the days were spent playing outside and having fun with his children, cooking dinner and eating together.
In the recent year I’ve come to recognize and have become very thankful and grateful for what my brother has done creating a family. He lives and ordinary life and works an ordinary job but he has created a beautiful family. I recognize his sacrifice and I realize he chose to create a family early on instead of chasing dreams to make up for what we didn’t have as kids.
We lost our mother to cancer very early on in childhood and my father worked late almost every day so I grew up feeling that I didn’t have a whole family. Visiting my brothers family makes me feel that great family feeling again. There’s life there. There’s both male and female energy. There’s balance and wholesomeness. I’m very lucky to be able to be a part of his childrens life. To play with them is like another creative outlet. You have to be creative to be playful and I very much enjoy that game because you get and instant reaction of joy to your output. You develop your charm and if your good with children, you are good with women too.
You suddenly remember that you’ve always been a child at heart but as an adult you’ve supressed it. To be childlike is to be full of life, animated, magnetic. In this energy state you create memories and time doesn’t exist. It’s the heaven we were meant to live.
Where I’m from summer and the nice weather that comes with it passes by very fast. Now more than ever I too recognize that we have to fill our days with life and not the other way around. Time passes fast when you are in the trance called modern life with constant entertainment. When you fill your days with play and being outside instead you are in heaven. You forget about the virtual reality and the truths about who actually runs the world is forgotten and not interesting anymore. It becomes irrelevant because in your heaven, your reality, your little bubble, it doesn’t matter. That is the world of a child and maybe even true enlightenment.
Looking forward to the next part Vic!
Fantastic comment Joe.
Thanks Vic.
This lesson has stuck with me for weeks now and it’s become a part of me. Being with my brothers children has taught me to embrace my childishness and always be in the present. Before I had the worst kind of monkeymind. Always thinking of the past and the future, never being in the now.
Playing with my brothers children for two weeks provided me with an environment to reboot my brain. I highly recommend anyone struggling with racing thoughts to do something similar.
I’ve embraced playfullness into my life instead of judging myself for it. I know now that play makes me feel alive and it fules my creativity to make better work. All this “hustle” and “work hard on your goals” talk makes Jack a dull boy.
For some people having goals may work. For me future goals takes me out of the present which robbs me of focus and the work suffers.
This saturday was easily the best day in recent years. I arranged a bachelor party for my best friend. A full day of play with my best friends. Gokart competition was the first thing we did. I’ve always known that I would be a great racer. Have always been about solo sports. Man against man. I pushed the gokart to the limit. Nothing like racing outdoors, feeling the wind, perfecting your cornering and racing line, pushing the tires to slip so you know where the limit is, pushing just behind your competitor and you suddenly find an opening and pass him by. YOU CAN’T BE ANYTHING BUT PRESENT when racing and that’s the beauty of it. 100% focus on what you’re doing. 100% instinct and flow. That is meditation. We also played paintball which also requires 100% of your focus and it’s really intense. This plus lots of fun shenanigans made this a GREAT DAY that has me inspired for days and days.
Now I realize why wait for special occasions such as a bachelor party to have fun? Fun and play should be a part of our everyday lifes. Maybe not on that grand of a scale but still, we should make it part of our lives and forget about being a perfect adult. Everybody knows adults who still play have a glow about them, an aura. Everyone is drawn to them. Take a look at Tom Cruise for instance. He does his own stunts. He has a larger than life aura. He knows how to play. So I want to do the same on a smaller scale, meaning I will incorporate gokart racing, kite surfing and gun range shooting into my life not as a one time thing but as part of my lifestyle. Instead of idolizing all these action stars and rock stars, become one instead. Not for social media or anyone else but for yourself. No one needs to see it, it’s for you to experience in the moment.
When you play you develop your focus, instinct, creativity, charm, ingenuity and you become charged with joy and magnitism; all components of successful men. Why go the hard “hustle” way when you can go the play way instead and achieve better results?
Vic, you’ve said play and work is the same thing and I agree. Grinding at work and being a worker be scrambles your brain, your aura and everything good about you. Monotony is lobotomy so break it by embracing your childishness again and see your life change for the better.
In addition to doing playfull things outside again I’ve also started to surround myself with things from my childhood and teenage years.
I don’t care much for music anymore except for music that I listened to during that time period. I don’t care much for new movies anymore either so I only watch movies up to my teenage years. I don’t care for new video games either but I love playing my old video games every now and then so I just bought a Pocket-Go retro handheld console from Bittboy. It’s loaded with every classic old gameboy and video game you can imagine and it fits in your pocket. I don’t waste my life on any of these things but now I do allow myself to play a little now and then and it makes all the difference. I hope some people get some value out of all this. Just wanted to share.
It can seem stagnant to only consume things from childhood but it’s because it brings you into the mindset you had back then so that you can create new things. It’s about finding your magic again and therefore being able to create new magic for others to enjoy.
Happy Birthday Uncle Vic!
I didn’t receive an email about this article.
It was sent. Check your spam or promotions folder. Let me know if/where you found it.
I found it, thank you.
Hi Victor! Hope you doing greath! I wonder if you know if the dirty shit will vanish if I boil my water? And is there any way to acutally look up how clean my water is? I am living in Sweden
If you boil your water you can look at what’s left in the pot to see if your water is clean or not. Typically if you use city water or bottled water there will be a scum left in the pot. This is the same scum that we are all drinking. Boiling the water will not make it pure, but looking at the residue will show you how good or bad the water actually is.
Thanks for your answear, I did try it out. Sweet…
Now I need to check my sperm quality, it worked well 8 years ago to produce my son, nowdays I am now so sure the quality is still the same…
Yes theres so much shit in city water - get a reverse osmosis water filter - you can also buy portable ones if your renting -if you boil it pure water evaporates and you actually have a higher concentration of metals in water if you just boil it -
Spectacular. What a masterpiece. #16 is GOLD and written in such an artful way that only people who “get it” will understand.
Happy birthday Victor. I’ve learned that the best way to refine your intuition is through the Monkmode program.
Articles like these are what B&D is all about in my opinion. It’s good to see you writing again. Thanks Vic.
Happy birthday from Eastern Europe, Victor!
I missed your articles and I really enjoyed this one. Looking forward for part two!
Victor,
I have lived long enough to see my grandchildren. All I am going to say is: Well done, son. Keep kicking people’s face with the truth. That’s you calling.
-Horacio
Thank you for these deeply wise words, Vic! I’ve always underestimated this intuition thing. Maybe it’s time to try it.
Victor when you speak of taking your shoes off and walking in the dirt you are talking about earthing and theres a ton of benefits.
https://www.fibrofix.com/blogs/news/health-benefits-of-grounding-earthing
And happy birthday no kidding time flies by. I’ll be 29 end of july.
Victor! You are always on point. That part ‘be selfish to be selfless’ is a hook. Until I work on my self and be good at it, I never knew what is called greatness. Helping others is the last resort and the greatest of all. However, a man need to get it right first. This mean, he needs to be selfish.
Thanks man.
Hello Vic, Happy Birthday!
I am a girl who is a virgin yet and I am modest. I am kinda treasure in a minefield( I know I shouldn’t have said this with my own mouth, my apologies ). Vic you’re an ideal Man for me, I admire you so much. I want to marry you, Will you marry me?
Lol
What’s funny about it Mr. ?
I just did what my intuition told me to do so.
happy birthday MAN
your son will be very proud ;)
Great Article Victor. A wise man would read this like a mantra/affirmation daily until it burns into his mind, and becomes part of his own ethical code.
Grampy
Happy birthday Vic, hope you have a great day fishing
This is A sensational article that also reminded me of the deep words you’ve said before. Particularly that magic of thinking small article.
It also reminded me of this talk I saw before by a Thai farmer about living the simple life and how people more intelligent than him complicate things. He makes houses every year with his own hands.
https://youtu.be/21j_OCNLuYg
Also, who was the she that said time runs fast like the sun burns hot?
That’s a really profound aphorism
Great work.
Victor please keep these articles coming. I tend to make time to read articles than listen to your podcasts. May be it is that I can take time to ponder while I read the article.
I may have almost skipped all your podcasts, procrastinating to listen them later, and they’ve piled up now. I want to make time and listen to them all.
But article, i read it anywhere on the move. I love your writing. Please keep it coming.
Victor,
This may seem like a dumb question, but I feel it is vitally important to address for many young men.
One of the most important addictions is not drugs or sex but sports. In particular, rooting for professional athletes.
I have taken the red pill on so many issues and am calm and unaffected by much. But one thing that disturbs my mental focus is sports affiliation. As a New Zealander, I was distraught after their world cup loss today. Especially because they had close opportunities and missed a stupidly easy play.
Yes, it could be scripted in advance or maybe not. Yes, I cognitively know that I gain nothing from watching men chase a ball around a field (that’s every sport, basically). They don’t know me. I don’t make any money.
Yet I feel deep anguish when easy opportunities are missed. I feel those missed losses as my own. My mind is a deep slump, even though I cognitively know these are retarded slave emotions that belong to an idiot, not a winner.
How does one overcome such stupid attachments? Is there deep inside us humans, a desire for justice (i.e. wanting to see a more talented team win than one that has little talent or is boorish) or if not, why does this happen?
Why do intelligent men wear Peyton Manning’s name on their back? Why do tennis fans get viscerally upset when Novak Djokovic beats Roger Federer? Why do basketball fans lament when Kevin Durant outperforms Lebron James?
The answer is logically evident, but this to me, has been tougher than breaking the porn, media, or alcohol addictions. I’m clawing my way back as a man.
I would be most grateful if you could tell me your thoughts. I need your help, brother.
Happy birthday to the one and only. Keep it real, Victor. The world needs your words of wisdom more than ever. Thank you for everything.
Vic, this is an excerpt from the Tao te Ching:
The Tao gives birth to all beings,
nourishes them, maintains them,
cares for them, com
forts them, protects them.
Nourishes/cares/protects? How? Where does the Tao protect a deer from being eaten by a tiger? Where does the Tao protect a baby elephant abandoned by his herd? Where does the Tao protect a human who develops maladies, or loses a beloved one, or is born with defects?
The idea of Tao gives me great peace but also partly feels like some attempt to dull the masses into obeying and accepting their servitude with dignity. How on earth is this different from the Stoicism philosophy that you are NOT a fan of?
JP
I know you answered this before. But your opinions change. How do I find a woman in the west who isn’t a whore with her PhD in whoredom.
Thanks
Stop seing every woman has a whore. Every time you say, feel, think, validate this belief you reinforce it in your brain/mind and create this belief.
On another level, not every woman is a whore. what you say is disgusting.
“Everybody has the innate ability to create their own happiness. Children are proof.”
I still remember nearly 15 years ago when my cousin was a toddler. He received a huge plastic toy, and what did he do? He played with the box, not the toy. He had an absolute blast crawling in and out of the box, hiding in the box, etc.
e a parte dois????
Wonderful. I loved the part about tough love
Hey Vic, a Big Mahalo & Aloha to you for what you do & bring to the table ! Your words & wisdom are a gift and have given me some major insights, inspiration to finally break free from my own self imposed BS ! Great article & I thank the Logos frequently for sending you my way ~ Cheers & Happy BD from the middle of nowhere… ;) R.A.D.
Happy Birthday Victor!!
Happy birthday! When’s the pod coming back bro? Looking forward to it
Your words show the depth of your character.
Well done sir.
Vic, out of curiosity.. what are you doing in New Mexico? I thought you had settled in Argentina and/or not looking forward to stay in the US.
On the other hand, I live in San Fernando valley, CA and I have always wanted to move out to either TX or NM. What do you recommend?
Hey Vic, one of your best articles for sure!
Been a while since you talked about diet (I believe it was in a podcast), do you have anything new to comment on this or is it still the same all-meat diet?
I knew it!
They got to you!
The video podcasts stepped on some “twinkELtoes’ and now it’s back to this!
Bingo. Sad but Vic made the right call. Not worth messing around with the real power players. They will crush you if you don’t oblige. Podcasts were great while they lasted…
Vic, you doing OK bro? Been a while since we’ve all heard from you, you doing alright?
Just looking out, not trying to be nosy or anything.
Great read man. Can personally relate to a lot of these points.
I quit a job (even though the money was good) because I absolutely did not like what I was doing and it was impacting my health. Most people are scared to take this step, but as long as people don’t worry and be happy like you said, things always seem to work out in the end.
The problem is when people fail and quit. Then you end up settling for something you end up not wanting to do again.
Hey Vic,
Hope you’re okay sir. Your long absence makes me worried and many are also voicing the same especially after you decided to cease speaking about the occult elite and the Esoteric. Even your 5 star Fridays are on hold…
May the Source be with you
Victor, please make an article How to Have fun in life. Us youngr readers sometimes forget to enjoy life while trying to escape the rat race
Buy a motorbike, travel, make money, try new things. Buy firearms
I can definitely vouch for being happier since leaving my job in November 2018. I’ve spent almost 6 months visiting my family in Australia which is something that would have been almost impossible to pull off while working full time. I’ve launched my own blog Absolute Ascendancy (https://absoluteascendancy.com/) and while it is still early days and I lack a following, I am confident that I will be able to grow my readership in due course.
There are so many good points in this post, especially number 15 (among many others). Fear is such a killer of ambition and potential; it will ruin you if you let it. I have found that the best way in managing fear is to subject yourself to experiences that take you beyond your zone of comfort. The more you do this, the greater your sphere of comfort will grow and the less of a grip fear will have over your heart.
Happy birthday and looking forward to reading part 2.
Pretty obvious now that they’ve got Victor. Lord knows what they’re doing or have done to him. Can the brothers here please pray for his safety? It should be obvious something is wrong, does anyone know what happened?
“God if you’re there, stay out of Vic’s way”
Jokes aside, I don’t think there was a darker meaning behind “37 steps to heaven”.
Not at all. If you read Vic’s final Five-Star Friday email, he said that he was going to avoid the Internet for a while, a month or so. It is still less than a month since this was posted. Be patient.
Does anyone know a great book of wisdom that can teach me to be a more selfish person.
Psychopath’s Bible by Hyatt… Also the Black Books by Hyatt
Holy cow. Never thought I’d meet another human who has read psychopaths bible. Christopher hyatt is a genius.
And thick face black heart is a phenomenon book I’ve read parts to it. Need to finish.
I’ll add the 50th law by robert greene and he wrote another book recently called laws of human nature.
Thick Face, Black Heart by Chin-Ning Chu. “Nick” mentioned it once in his Podcast .
Vic, hope all is well.
I visited a third world country that I assume is a lot like where you lived in Thailand based on your descriptions. The people were all extremely poor but very social in comparison to my town in the US. They all were happy and had an alive look in their eyes even though they lived in extreme poverty and filth. During my time there I wasn’t aware of all the BS U.S. news relating to the mass shootings which were designed to take away our guns. I can really see why you liked living in the third world so much. Unfortunately those aren’t our people, but you can see how people are supposed to act, at least socially, and it ain’t happening at all in the US.
Yo Vic, Will there be an updated Red Growth coming? or What is your opinion on sarms??
Is Vic o.k ? Nearly a month without an article ?!?
Has Vic been whisked away to some unknown location? Or worse yet Epsteined? or forced to sell soul to the devil?
B&Ders should be concerned about a fellow truth teller being silenced, does anyone have contact info for him?
Vic: re you okay? what have been doing, man?
you’ve not posted in a long time.
I know my timing is bad to ask you, but when Red Growth is going ro return to Red Supplements;
Dear Victor,
I miss hearing you.
What happened?
Im with you haha
Its has been 1 month Uncle V since your last post.Where you went?
Anyone have Vic’s contact? Pretty worrying stuff. Emails also unresponsive. I knew it. They got to him.
Anyone remember when Vic revealed his real name? If anyone remembers it and Vic doesn’t show within another month it might be worth checking for obituaries or death notices just in case. Honestly though this absence doesn’t seem out of character for him. Lets be patient.
Nick Kelly was what he revealed, but he’s probably just taking a break from the internet or something. Either way it does seem kind of weird
Hello my friendly friend,
I love your blog. My question is off-topic, but I am re-watching Godfather part I right now, and wanted to ask… who is your favorite character?
Kind regards,
Vic, if you’re alive, the least you could do would be to post a comment letting us know you’re ok. Many are concerned. Some have tried reaching out to you via email with no response.
Victor isn´t there and you need him more than in the past when he made his podcasts. It´s one of the laws of power Robert Greene wrote about.
I just told a recruiter from a top company (starts with G) to F* off. I’ve decided this is it. Enough is enough. I’ve hung around enough crabs. I’ve hung around the ungrateful for long enough. I’ve figured out how to make a side income through the school of hard knocks over the past year. I’ve made more and lost more than these dweebs would make in a decade, all in a year or so. I’m going to, with the grace of the creator, temper myself, trust that things will work out and make the leap of faith within the coming 8 months or so.
