1:04 Da Grappla says:

I’ve been a highly self-reclusive guy for a lifetime.35 next month. Last two gfs were models (good with girls at least) I didn’t liked their circles at all. My best friends took off and are everywhere all around the world. Nice for travelling, bad for me in my town. How do I make new friends, just a clue, a first step…moving is not an option; my father needs me (he’s kinda sick). @Joey the Hustler: I should have said I had a tendency to be friends with tough thugs (the usual crew of MMA/BJJ/GRAPPLING gyms around here) and get involved in better to avoid things…yeah, that’s up to me to manage. I got more reclusive so I could avoid things like these Da Grappla Said: My reason to ask Victor is he seems able to land on whatever part of the world and make friends. Good ones. How does he start? Just showing up in the gym everyday is enough, perhaps?

5:53 Maks says:

What would you recommend/advise to a 19 year old guy who is making 500-800$/month online and is moving to live in Chiang Mai in 3 months? (just for info, you don’t have to read it on air) I will skip college, my parents know it already so it’s a sure thing, besides I can always go back. I have never been in Thailand but I have travelled alone a lot. I have read 12 weeks in Thailand and some blogs of people who live there so I’m almost prepared and already got some information. I am planning to travel a bit around Thailand for the first few weeks and than find some place to stay for 150-200$/mo. I guess i’ll take 3-4k there for safety and travelling. I have some info about visas but since I hear there were some changes recently you could tell me how do you personally extend it. Last thing that worries me is that I will be alone and younger that other foreigners so finding friends could be a bit harder. And also any other tip would be helpful. I’m from Slovenia, Europe, btw. Your advice would be really help me a lot! Thanks and keep up the good work

7:12 Nathan says:

Hey Vic, I’m 18 in two months and I’ve saved up $1000 dollars, I’ve read all of your content and am determined to start my own web-business(es). My question is: if you had to start all over again with just $1000 dollars and an internet connection, what would be the best knowledge and first steps that would give you a head-start to success in making Six figures online as quickly as possible. Thanks you for your time and help!

9:13 Joey the Hustler says:

He’s not that big. Vic is cut but he’s not that large for his size, (he’s mentioned this before.) He’s around 6′ tall and 195lbs. If he was on drugs, I’d say he was getting ripped off. Lifting progressively heavier weights for a couple years and eating clean calories will get anyone jacked. I’d take a look at the stronglifts 5×5 program for starters.

10:44 Paul says:

Vic is on TRT and takes Prohormones when he’s bulking up. There’s no secret about that. If you read BOAS, you see what he looked like before gear. His more recent pictures are post gear. He looked like an athlete before, and a monster after.

11:47 Alex says:

Are you on gear? Can following “Body of a Spartan” give a natural trainer the same physique you have (including pec structure)?

12:50 C.B. says:

Victor, I’ve been reading on your blog for a few years now. Given your incredible success over the last few years, here’s a question or two: how do you keep your game tight? What continues to motivate you? What keeps the fire burning and the lion killing? All wolves howl – how do you maintain? Thanks.

13:56 Freedom & Fulfilment says:

What do you think are the most important character virtues for a man to develop? Discipline? Courage? Something else? Do you have any advice or tips for becoming a better writer? Do you agree with D&P and GLL that a person should only focus on ONE goal at a time? Do you think a man should wait until they are a certain age to start taking steroids?

17:38 Gaston says:

Id like to know what particular skills should a man develop, and how much should he perfect them. Skills like shooting guns, fixing machines, bodybuilding, studying, training, generating money, being better with people, etc. Because we dont have time for being perfect at everything.

See also: 32 Things Every Man Should Do

18:54 Gaston says:

Yes, but the article doesnt talk about my questions. Its about things to do, not skills to develop. Also I want to know how much time for each particular skill.Like F&F said in question #3, this somehow conflicts with having only one goal.

20:13 Daniel says:

Question : B&D has advocated to be loyal to blood. So what do you do with a member that knows they have to change, but lack the drive to change. They might make an effort for a few days or weeks, but then they are back a weaker state. Essentially, how do you convince a family member to go on the bold & determined journey/lifestyle for good?

21:07 Ts says:

1. Based on reading your blogs so far, it seems that you are old school style proud white male and looks down on interracial marriage and mixed children. And besides united states, you could have chosen eastern Europe where it’s not really affected by feminist bullshit and there are very good looking white girls there, why did you choose southeast Asia? Are Asian girls your first preference? If you are proud to Be white, shouldn’t you want to stick to your own kind? Not hating just curious.

22:10 Raymond says:

Hey vic here the question 1.in life if I want to do anything thing I want to do is there a limit or unlimited everything 2.if you want to get rich can I do it any mean necessary( illegal or legal)

22:45 Nestor Mendoza says:

What are some good entrepreneur forums you regularly visit and why

23:44 Anonymous says:

1. How the hell can one start a bodybuilding website and make money from it when there’s millions of others that already have content about bodybuilding. 2. How can an 18 year old move from home with no job, car or anything except $1,000?

25:18 JimDim says:

Hey Victor, It’s time for me to leave my 9-5 job and get to sum action. What do you think would be a better idea? Get myself “fired” and receive the indemnity payment, or just resign? Thanks a lot!

26:01 John says:

What’s your opinion on social media as far as for personal (not business) use?

26:20 Good Looking Loser says:

I’ve being meaning to ask you - You said you have a lot of blog posts/subjects that you write up but don’t publish – I do too, but you have a lot more. Is there a ‘gold standard’ that you have for each post? and what is it?

28:39 anon1 says:

Hey Victor what advice/tips could you give that would reduce the sweat equity of a young man making his blog and having a voice [that people want to hear] from a few years profitability to doing it within 12 months? Or is it time in equals time out? What I’m asking is, i know hard work is a prerequisite for anything worth its salt or to take pride in, but is there anything you’ve learned over the years, maybe traps or pitfalls to avoid that could speed up the process from the beginner stage to reaching that initial goal? [having a voice that leads and people paying you to read what you have to say] thanks

30:17 Max says:

I sense you dabble somewhat seriously in domaining, as I do, so question is:What are your best 5 domain names ? (in terms of likely highest value)Cheers.

30:39 P.S. says:

1-What are your ideas towards religion?(I know you believe in a God but what kind?) 2-Besides the habits you mention in 30 days of discipline is there anything else now that you think every man should add to his life?

31:18 Ray Riordan says:

Blogging, building an audience like anything else is a grind. At what point did you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel? At which point did you say to yourself, “Okay, now I’ve arrived”?

32:17 Psychotic Bodybuilder says:

Hello Victor, I have a rather interesting question to ask you. What is your opinion on Anorexia in Males? As a person who overcame it through Weight Training and Bodybuilding, I am curious to know. -Psychotic Bodybuilder

32:49 Rydell says:

What are your thoughts about God

33:25 steve g says:

1.if you were to re-do your college years what would you major in? 2.what are the mains skills you have developed to be successful?

34:18 MIG Loser says:

1. Your 2-3 favorite qoutes, that immediately inspired you to take action. 2. How can someone pursue his vocation, when he has no savings and is sticked to a badly paid 9-5 job?

35:33 Andrei says:

When you “kick ass” what exactly do you do? Do you study other blogs? How much you read daily? How much time do you allocate for writing and editing? What about writer’s block? And I’m referring especially at what you were doing a few years ago when you were just in the process of creating your blog. Thank you.

36:40 Darrell Jackson says:

What do you think of Brandon Carter? He reminds me of you

37:04 Shay Jamall says:

What do you think of hook grip deadlifts and low-bar squats?

38:36 Matt says:

Q1: I know you hate jobs and the thought of employment, but what about the marines? Your EBook appears based off of bootcamp and discipline and everything a marine might embody but it’s contradictory to everything you discuss. Would you encourage someone to join?

39:30 Gaston says:

This could sound a little nerd, but I ll ask anyway. Everybody play games, watch movies or even play music to imagine that life we never had full of adventures and funny things to do. For example I have been recently playing Max Payne 3. I dont really enjoy playing it, I mean, winning the levels and keep going. I enjoy the story (lately I only play games for the story). He is a though, scary, respectable guy. He likes to carry two guns or uzis and shoot them cowboy style (you know its better to use both hands in a pistol). He can slow down time matrix style. Aside of his super powers, he is vulnerable and sometimes scared of danger. Once, he killed the son of the most important man in the city (a drug dealer and capo of the mafia) in a bar fight. The son was an idiot, and liked to brag being invincible and all that. Max didnt want to kill him, but he ended shooting him up. Well, there are other examples, like fallout, about man who saves his people (and got a big, nice and dangerous adventure), Phoenix Wright (a lawyer that is really afraid of sending dangerous people to jail but does anyway) and so on. You could think about it for seconds and remenber those stories you like so much involve great risks. The thing is that our lives are fucking boring compared to theirs. And we all know that its not imposible to live like this (we could join the army or the police, or we could join some drug dealer, or more simply just going to a bar to look for a fight), but we are afraid of being killed and all that. I would like to know your opinion about this. You always talk about being a badass, getting big, learning to fight, and shit. I am afraid, but at the same time, living in the confort of your house, city and work sucks. After all, we are young once… So, what do you do about this feeling, this will to fight that lies deep within us? Currently I’m training MMA, going to the gym and Im interested in topics like tactics for fights and war. I’d like to know what to do in the middle of an armed confrontation. I dont think I will fight for my life but I want to be prepared anyway. If anyone shares my interests, the art of war is one of the best books out there. Its like 3000 years old written by a chinese strategist, and its said that it is useful for other things aside of real wars, like business.

39:44 Aaron Sollesse says:

***** How did you learn to be so good at copywriting? ***** It’s been said that this is the most important skill in being successful at selling online and I know a good copywriter when I see one. I’m sure you’ve consciously practiced techniques learnt from direct marketers such as Gary Halbert so I’d like to know how long you spend (or previously spent) mastering it.

41:04 Scott says:

If and when you have kids, what would you name your first child? Maximus Danger Pride???

41:47 No One Fan says:

1. What content do you wish there was on line, but there isn’t? Or books, or software? What kind of blog or site would YOU enjoy reading? 2. Your long-term professional vision? Writ for B&D until you die, or do you have other plans?

42:30 Hermann Wolf says:

What are your thoughts on multiculturalism and race-mixing?

43:12 alphawolf says:

-speak about your life and how you became the man you are today (your influences, how you was as a teenager…) -can a boy became a man by himself without a right male model? – how to survive in the feminist world we live (can say nothing without hearing that you are a sexist)

46:26 Adam Fox says:

I am curious, how much money have you made this past year as a result of your online ventures? And do you ever plan on moving back to America, or do you plan on staying overseas permanently?

48:24 Bob says:

Based on the nearly 18 trillion dollar US debt, the deporting of US jobs and a massive on purpose influx of illegal aliens promoted by the US gov’t, roughly when do you think the USA will collapse? Second, and a very different question; What is the absolute best ways to a flat stomach in terms of exercises? I know diet is huge in that factor but just wonder if you found any good and simple stomach exercises? Thank you.

49:20 Chris Asks says:

What’s the most fucked up thing that has ever happened to you in your life? Something that still haunts you to this day?

49:40 sex symbol says:

Victor, do you think you could have built that body without synthetic hormones?

49:57 Raul says:

I work a 9-5 job and am totally drained after work. What would be the best way to have lots of energy even after work in order to work on a business?

50:43 Slade Wilson says:

What would you do if you were 15 again in terms of bodybuilding, business, etc?

50:54 pirate says:

Vic, are you on TV/TP?

Until next time.

Your man,

-Victor Pride

  1. “Right now I live like nobody will so that in the future I live like nobody can.”

Victor Pride is the Voice of Experience, and I’m always learning here.

    • That quote from him is reminiscent of Dave Ramsey’s quote “Live like no one else so later you can live like no one else.” I have to admit, I like Vic’s variation better…it just resonates deeper.

  2. Hey, I’m sorry about my long question at 39:30, I didn’t read that rule. You don’t have to read it, I just wanted to make the question clear. This is a shorter version. The question is about hero stories we see in books, movies and video games.

Think about those epic stories you like so much. Most are about some badass man that has some great adventure which involve great risks, like dying.
The thing is that our lives are fucking boring compared to theirs. And we all know that its not imposible to live like this (we could join the army, the police, sell drugs, or more simply just going to a bar to look for a fight), but we are afraid of being killed and all that. I would like to know your opinion about this.

You always talk about being a badass, kicking ass, getting big, learning to fight, and shit. I am afraid, but at the same time, living in the confort of your house, city and work sucks. After all, we are young once… So, what do you do about this feeling, this will to risk oneself that lies deep within us?
Currently I’m training MMA. Punching others and getting punched somewhat calms this feeling.

  3. Joey the Hustler says:

    Hey Vic,

As a clarification, haven’t been on the site since I guess your “pre-gear phase” so apologies for the mistake.

As far as bone structure, I would take a look into Wolff’s Law. One dead giveaway about the gearheads is that they do too much isolation and they have large muscles rising off of small bones. Observe the beasts from the Strongman competitions, yeah they’re on the gear but they lift HEAVY shit. Look at their wrists and ankles. Gear builds muscle but bones grow under heavy stress. Heavy weights change bone structure. I’ve been lifting heavy for years and I have developed large limbs, my hands are thick and so is my neck.

In defense of my Stronglifts comment; the giveaway of “How do I build a physique like yours” almost surely points to a lack of basic knowledge and a solid training schedule. Someone who doesnt know the basic compound squats has no hope of building significant mass. Sure Stronglifts isn’t the have all to end all, but it will get a noob on the right track with a solid foundation. As far as Medhi goes, he didn’t create the 5×5 program, he’s just marketed it and built the app. 5×5 has been around since long before gear was ever invented.

    • Victor Pride says:

“As a clarification, haven’t been on the site since I guess your “pre-gear phase” so apologies for the mistake.”

Not a problem in the slightest.

  4. Keep up the podcasts. I finished “Gladiator Training Routine” eBook. It’s up on my site.

  5. HAHAHAH the last answer was great!
Thanks for the podcast, just wish some of the questions weren’t so dumb.

    • Victor Pride says:

“just wish some of the questions weren’t so dumb.”

Me too. Won’t be doing any more Q&A’s. I’ll simply pick the best comments and emails to riff on or I’ll just choose my own topics.

  6. Travelling Paddy says:

    Yo Victor,

Top notch stuff as always. Listen, I’ve a question for you about Modafinil.
I’m in Thailand at the moment, and I’m looking to order some.

What is the law like in Thailand with regard to Modafinil? Is it legal? Do you need a prescription?
If they intercept it, what happens?

I’ve googled and can’t find any solid info.
Would appreciate your knowledge on this one..

    TP

    • Victor Pride says:

All I can give you is my own experience. You cannot buy it in a pharmacy here, it doesn’t exist here. You can only order online. I have never had a problem.

  7. Vic,

Thought I’d chime in here with my question since the above is on the same topic.
Have you travelled with Modafinil before? Or would you advise against it?

Heading over to Bali/Thailand soon and would like to bring it along (unsure if this is a foolish idea).

  8. Da Grappla says:

Extended and kickassing answer. Thanx. Yes, I usually atracted not the nicest guys because I wasn’t one.

Couple of years ago, I told my father who I was and the things I had done. He got mute to me for months. I was dead to him. And he was right about it.

I started to quit my past life in 2010. Getting rid of all that stuff needed my efforts, 100% focused on it. I kept the normal side of my life and threw away the other

You know what? Reading and hearing you, I get you could be 99% legal and good law abiding citizen AND not being a pussy at all.

I want that for me and I’m gonna get it no matter the cost.

    Thanx again.

  9. Hello Victor. You have very good voice Iam surprised. I have question also. So I have this girl which is very beautiful and smart woman (practically a genius). We travel together and she is absolutely feminine. She supports me in my business more than anyone else and she also trust me 100 percent. She is a richest person I know with tons of free cash. She has offered me to help with my business with cash. I have been living of my websites and trading for over 2 years fully. Money she can provide can help me take it to another level and double my monthly revenue. We are good friends and have great sex, she is also in love with me. Would You Take the money or pass it ? Thank You

    • Victor Pride says:

Take it, grow the biz, pay her back.

    • I see 2 things you need to address Marian and Victor might see some other issues that I missed over.

      1) I do not like to take money from anyone…especially someone I know personally. I would rather borrow money from a bank than take it from someone I personally know.
      2) Can you grow your business without taking the money? Sure it might take longer, but being able to do so without be indebted to anyone is typically the better route to take.

I’d pass and save up money until I could expand the business by myself, but that’s just me.

  10. Hi Vic,
Thanks for the awesome value you have provided all these time. I realized that you have been creating tremendous value by giving it all for free. Just would like to ask, how do you managed to give it for free during the times when you don’t have any other source of income (job) as i realized that my own selfishness is crippling my business by killing my ability to create.

Would appreciate if you can comment on how to kill my own thinking of needing to see the money all the time? (dont blame me man, i need money to pay off bills and college stuff) And yes vic, i have been implementing your advice on being a spartan on the money side so that the entrep part can be slightly easier, it works!.

Thank you in advance! I hope to give something back of value to you as well in the near future!

    • Victor Pride says:

I had money the whole time so I never relied on the income from B&D. You need money, no two ways about it, if you don’t have any get a part time job and when your business replaces that income you can quit.

  11. Great podcast Vic!

I especially liked your answer to the religion question. It was humble and that’s how I feel as well. The atheists just haven’t thought about the question of existence hard enough. All religion is metaphorical anyway.

I have a question for your future podcast. You have a very serious tone. I guess aloof is the word I’m looking for. Is that mainly for your internet image? If not, then were you always that way or did you have to cultivate it? I’ve been experimenting with being more serious and it’s working out well. I get more respect and I know girls are attracted to it. But I find myself breaking state when confronted with more dominant males, hot chicks, etc.

    • Victor Pride says:

“I have a question for your future podcast. You have a very serious tone. I guess aloof is the word I’m looking for. Is that mainly for your internet image?”

All I did was turn on the mic and talk.

“I’ve been experimenting with being more serious and it’s working out well.”

There’s no reason to be serious if you’ve got nothing in life to be serious about. Get something going that drives you and you will just become more serious, it will just happen. When it happens you will start smiling and laughing nervously and tucking your tail between your legs when you come across a big dog.

      • Thanks Vic, that makes sense.

I’ve been hitting the weights hard, making nice gains, and starting an online business. That’s probably why this “serious” attitude is coming more easily for me now.

        Cheers,

        Brett

  12. Thanks for addressing my questions.

  13. Victor, could you put me in touch with Maks? Or Maks, if you’re reading this, hit me up!

I’m 19 too and currently making $500-$1000/month online and thinking of moving to Thailand to take it to the next level.

  14. Man I like your stuff a lot. I have seen many people writing books and content like the book Secret, which to me is a complete nonsense I mean the law of attraction makes sense but I think it’s incomplete. On the other hand, you talk about stuff like sexual transmutation, modafinil, weightlifting and so on. Basically stuff that makes difference, yet you keep saying unless you work hard you won’t be shit. Whether you work to become an orthodontist, writer like yourself or whatever. You show how to provide the fuel for the work, and motivate people. Anyway got a question—> How often and in what circumstance do you think a person should use modafinil? btw here’s a movie similar to limitless I’m enthralled seems bit illusionary tough :) if you ever care to check it out I stumbled upon it while looking up modafinil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVt32qoyhi0

    • Victor Pride says:

Whenever you have some task or work which will take all day. I find this is the best way to use and not abuse. Basically, take it when you need it and know it will help.

  15. I haven’t listened to the podcast yet. Just downloaded it to my phone to listen to later, but just wanted to say that I am a wussy man who is desperate to cure this sickness. I am confident Victor Pride’s advice will help.

  16. Vic, when you say create a site and make money with affiliate products do you suggest making a site that promotes a bunch of products or a site with just 1 niche product, then rinse and repeat?

    • Victor Pride says:

I really recommend you become a trusted authority before you try and make money affiliate marketing.

  17. Hey thanks very much for your answer Vic.
For the record i’m in my mid 20s so should know better about having patience.

I will work on editing and reediting myself so i sound a bit more clearer.

And also on having a worthy life to lead before i try and lead others.

And i wanted to thank you for answering the questions we had, even the stupid ones

  18. KingWang says:

I just turned 18 years old at the end of March this year.

I haven’t been growing much since I was 15-16 years old, and I have symptoms of low testosterone. Should I go on TRT at this age?
