I remember reading Larry Bird’s auto-biography a while back and I have always remembered a quote from that book. It is something I will never forget and I will pass on to my family when the time comes.
Forgive if the quote is inaccurate, it is from memory:
“My Dad said that if anyone was ever picking on one of my brothers and I didn’t step in to defend them I better not ever come home.”
A lot of places will say things like “Happy Fathers Day to all the REAL fathers” but BOLD & DETERMINED won’t. We know the truth.
We know fathers love their kids more than anything.
